Beth Shelley

Beth is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with 15 years experience working with children, their families and teaching staff across a range of environments in both the UK and in New Zealand. Beth was a Senior Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy for 3 years before having her daughter, combining this role with her clinical post in the Northamptonshire NHS team. Beth also worked as an Early Language Consultant for the Government initiative ‘Every Child a Talker’. She is an Elklan tutor, a licensed I CAN tutor and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. In August 2019 Beth was awarded an NHS Quality Care award for her work on developing a care pathway for children with Selective Mutism in Northamptonshire. Beth’s areas of clinical interest are language delay/disorder, speech delay/disorder and selective mutism. She is now working full time as an Independent Speech and Language Therapist.

Jenny Castledine

Jenny is a Specialist (paediatric) Speech and Language Therapist, and also combines her Independent role with a part-time NHS post. Jenny has 13 years experience in both early years and school settings and her particular areas of clinical interest are in early intervention, dysfluency (stammering) and children with SEN (including ASD).  Jenny is currently on maternity leave, due to return in early 2020.

We specialise in working with children aged 2 years to 11 years old.  We have experience of working collaboratively with a wide range of professionals such as:

Disclosure and barring

All of our therapists have enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

We are registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).

Data protection

Beth Shelley assumes the function of data controller and supervises the compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) within the business.
